Mac wins

Mac wins, and I'm glad. His Tarheels pulled it out. Mac was always nice to us and complimentary of coach P. At half time at the Alamo Bowl he said of coach P, "That man isn't gonna give up."

Mack and GP are friends. When they are in the same location at the same time, they get together for dinner. Mack is a good coach, a good recruiter, and understands that these are kids. He did a great job at the TCU - Oregon Alamo Bowl for ESPN. He knew everybody on the field and the sidelines, their backgrounds and abilities, and pointed out things about plays in the game the way GP does. Only a short time before he had tried to recruit most of the players in that game.
