Lubbock Avalanche-Journal: Texas Tech yields six runs in second, falls to TCU

OKLAHOMA CITY — Even after a bit of trouble early on, Ryan Sublette looked to be in total control Wednesday against TCU in the opener of the Big 12 Tournament.
The Texas Tech freshman pitcher walked the leadoff batter before inducing a 6-4-3 double play and striking out the final batter to end the top of the first inning.
The Red Raider freshman appeared to set the the tone on the mound until the Horned Frogs figured him out in the next inning.
