Leaving for the draft
LSU said safety Eric Reid, cornerback Tharold Simon, running back Spencer Ware and punter Brad Wing are entering the NFL Draft.

Others who declared for the draft on Friday:

Tight end Jordan Reed, safety Matt Elam and defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd of Florida; Georgia linebacker Jarvis Jones; and Wisconsin center Travis Frederick.

Wasn't that punter the first guy to get a TD taken away last season on that taunting rule they created? Scored on a fake punt, but got it taken away for showboating.

LB Kevin Minter leaving...however #1 ILB recruit Reuben Foster is aware of this and likes how the depth chart looks with this new development.

BATON ROUGE - The most juniors in the history of the LSU football program have announced they will enter the 2013 NFL Draft this April. As of Friday night, six LSU juniors had announced they would leave a year early, and more are coming.[snip]

The latest was defensive end Barkevious Mingo on Friday night. KNOE TV in Monroe, La., reported that Mingo had entered the NFL Draft. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound defensive end with defensive back speed is projected to go the earliest of the LSU players in the April draft.[snip]

Earlier Friday, tailback Spencer Ware, cornerback Tharold Simon of Eunice and punter Brad Wing announced they would skip their senior year for the NFL, according to LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette. They joined junior middle linebacker Kevin Minter and junior free safety Eric Reid, who each announced on Thursday.[snip]

The two other LSU juniors expected to announce in the coming hours or days are defensive end Sam Montgomery and defensive tackle Bennie Logan. Detillier has Montgomery as a top 20 pick in the first round and Logan in the late first round.
