Think there are some frustrated ad guys at ESPN? In bowl standings, their media darlings are not faring so well, with the PAC10 at 3-4, the SEC at 3-3, and the Big 10 at 2-5. Conversely, CUSA is 4-1, Big East is 3-1, and the ACC is 4-2. More games to play, but I have to suspect that ESPN wishes their pets were performing a little better.

ESPN has a piece of every conference. They couldn't care less about a conference's bowl record. Their only measuring stick is the ratings. So, right now, they're dancing about the Orange Bowl...until the Sugar Bowl ratings come in, perhaps.

Overnight ratings rose for the Sugar Bowl, but remained among the lowest ever for a Bowl Championship Series game.

The Louisville/Florida Sugar Bowl drew a 6.4 overnight rating on ESPN Wednesday night, up a tick from Michigan/Virginia Tech last year (6.3), but down 24% from Ohio State/Arkansas in 2010 (8.4).
The 6.4 overnight is the fourth-lowest ever for a Bowl Championship Series game, ahead of only the 2012 Orange Bowl (4.5), the 2009 Orange Bowl (5.9) and the 2012 Sugar Bowl (6.3).

We've been a mixed bag so far. Wins against unranked B1G and PAC teams like Purdue, UCLA, Minnesota and Oregon State but losses against Michigan State, Tulsa and Syracuse.

The good news is that we have two more shots at some big victories against Top 10 teams to make this a clear bowl win season for the Big 12 with KSU vs Oregon tonight and Ou vs A&M tommorow.

Do you shave your junk daily or weekly or monthly?

Do you use a razor to shave or a dapilitoire (sp?)?

Do you use the same razor to shave your junk as you do your face?

Do you shave your face or your junk more often?

If a guy is shaving his asscrack--HIS ASSCRACK! in front of a bunch of other guys in the communal shower at the downtown YMCA, what do you do?

Despite the B1G's 2-5 record, they've impressed me more than any other conference (relative to my perception of them coming into the bowls).

Wisky hung with PAC #1 Stanford
Nebraska hung with SEC #2 Georgia
Michigan should've beat South Carolina, who ended up 11-2 this season in the SEC
Northwestern whipped Miss St's arse
Mich St beat TCU (despite the fact that we gave them the game)

SEC and PAC 12 have probably impressed me the least. Big XII has been mediocre

What are you talking about ESPN owns the ACC. This is the best thing ever to happened for them as the SEC, PAC, and Big 10 image will never diminish to obscurity. ACC's image has been horrendous in the past years, ESPN must be ecstatic that this bowl season is going so well. ACC rise is not good for Big 12 if the future is 4 major conferences.

I'd agree. They certainly have not been blown out by any team...

The Big XII wins have looked good, but the loses...meh...
