IRVINE – Transition is natural for Joseph Noteboom, who switched from hockey to football while in high school, and then from tight end to offensive tackle. Now he could be a starting guard in the NFL.

The Rams need someone, because right guard Jamon Brown has been suspended for the first two regular-season games. Brown played all but two of the Rams’ 1,101 offensive snaps in 2017, so now the Rams are faced with a choice, whether to go with a semi-known quantity or take a chance on a rookie.
