Looks like Patterson & Sumlin are going toe to toe.

Looks like current A&M commit Darian Claiborne (LB) is going to visit TCU this weekend.

[Frognosticator]

Wouldn't that be ironic.

[NYC Horned Frog]

I like it, wasting no time.

Fantastic. We can offer almost guaranteed early playing time due to our thin LB corps at present. This is a good effort by GP and Co.

Need to place calls to every 2013 commit in the state and hang that carrot out there.

[TCURiggs]

Interesting. What's the scoop on Claiborne? Nice football name.

And the old testament said " a LB for a LB"

I have great respect for Eric Hyman ,now AD at Aggydom. He did some wonderful things for TCU while he was our Athletic Director including bringing CGP to Fort Worth and revival of our program. He and his family still have great love for TCU and city of Fort Worth.
Some of happenings in both programs may some mutual consent.I would love to see a home and home with AGS or a solo in Death Star.

[West Coast Johnny]

As I predicted.

Is a 4.7 forty time fast enough for a LB in the pass-happy Big 12?

Well, if he's being recruited by Big 12 schools, I guess so!

[asleep003]

What an athlete.... rushed for over 1,100 yards/over 1,600 yds passing/ and 128 tackles. Sure there is a place somewhere for him.

It's really more about his 20 than his 40... as he would have 5-6 DBs to help out.

Cheers !

[pgdfrog]

Scout has him listed at 6'0.5", 220, and 4.5. Wonder which is correct...pretty big difference there.

That 4.7 is from Rivals, btw. And yeah that's a big difference pgd.

[Burner1]

If it comes to pass, this probably would be trading up for TCU.

Plus 4 offers from SEC schools....
