I was ok with the conservative approach considering how the defense had been playing. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more imaginative than what we ran on the third and long before giving it back to UT with 1:47 left. Something with a run/pass option but understood the reasoning for doing what we did.
I wasn't ok with the officiating. The holding by UT's offensive guards was out of control but was never called. I realize it can be called on almost every snap but when it's as blatant as it was on about 5-6 different snaps and doesn't get called I get suspicious. Also, could have sworn that Boykin was blown down, early in the game, when he rolled over the top of a guy and headed for the endzone. Ended up missing a FG that possession if memory serves.
