KLTV: Westwood’s Denman gets hometown sendoff in move to TCU

PALESTINE, Texas (KLTV) - You saw the Westwood running back on the Red Zone, and now John Denman gets one more spotlight before he leaves to become a TCU Horned Frog.
A sendoff was held Saturday with family and friends, who are very proud of Denman’s accomplishments.
Among those showing their praise of the East Texan was his eighth grade school teacher.
“I am super proud of John,” Sulema Myers said. “So I had him in eighth grade and he was just a great student. He gave it his all, so I’m not surprised that any of this is happening."
