TCU Football at Kansas State

So many issues have plagued the Horned Frogs this season. The team looks to change the narrative as they prepare to take on the Wildcats.

Coming off a loss to West Virginia in Week 8, the TCU Horned Frogs travel to Manhattan to take on Kansas State. Offensive play calling, turnovers, and execution on the line of scrimmage were the stories taken away from the latest loss. TCU allowed 7.0 yards per play and turned the football over three times.

TCU looks to turn the narrative in Week 9 and climb back to 0.500 on the season against the Kansas State Wildcats. The game will be held at Bill Snyder Family Stadium on October 30 at 2:30 p.m. The Horned Frogs return to ESPNU (or streamed on FuboTV.com) for the second straight week.

here's a quick primer on k-state.

three losses have been to oSu, ou, and isu, with wins over stanford, nevada, siu, and txt. passing game and special teams' runback games are the team's strengths. skylar thompson threw for ~300 v. both ou and txt. deuce vaughn is the reincarnation of darren sproles although deuce tends to do more as a receiving back of late. thompson had completions to eleven different receivers saturday.

defense has been inconsistent, allowing 21-points v. txt in the first half, then shutting them out the second. we never know what's ahead of us other than the unpredictable. injuries at d'end are showing. k-state has converted to isu's 3-man front this year. field goal kicking is also worrisome.

just an observation that the 'fire gary' noise here makes me laugh. who you going to hire better than the guy who put tcu football on the top tier? senseless talk to this emaw.

Im going to the game are there any good open tailgates?
you'd have to define 'open tailgates.' k-state is one big tailgate in the super-sized lots on either side of the stadium. beings y'all in purple, you can probably sit down at any of them and enjoy yourself without being noticed. whatever the choice, you'll be treated well up here. the forecast is 66 degrees and sunny - perfection for football.
