USC stood up Georgia Tech for a Sun Bowl dinner Wednesday night, reportedly showing up more than 90 minutes late for a function. By the time the Trojans party arrived, Tech had already left to return to its team hotel.

Word is Georgia Tech showed up 30 min early and USC was 30 min late. Sun Bowl had planned on it so each team could have an introduction. When USC was walking in GT's coach already had his players filing out the door.... Some comments are that GT wanted to use this as a motivator for its players with "USC being so bored with playing GT in the Sun Bowl."

Oh well, who cares honestly..... I hope GT kicks their [Craig James] all over the field....

The USC plane was delayed and it cut into practice--bowl officials granted Kiffin's request to show up late so they wouldn't lose practice time. If anything, it shows that USC is more serious about the game since they were unwilling to miss a few practice periods.
