Von Miller, Gary Patterson headline Texas Sports Hall of Fame inductees
Nine Texas sports icons, including Von Miller and Gary Patterson, were inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame on the hall's 75th anniversary.
WACO, Texas — A special day in Central Texas brought together some of the state’s most celebrated athletes and contributors as nine inductees were honored at the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
The hall, now home to 443 Texas icons, marked its 75th year of recognizing excellence across the sports world Saturday during the induction ceremony. This year’s class features a range of standout figures, including the 1966 Texas Western Miners team, Clint Dempsey, Chad Hedrick, Charmayne James, Steve McMichael, Zack Martin, Von Miller, Gary Patterson and Louis Santop.
