OMAHA, NE (KCBD) - The Texas Tech Red Raiders (45-19) are making their first-ever appearance in the College World Series in Omaha.

For the guys, playing on Baseball's Biggest Stage beats watching it as they have in years past. For Dylan Dusek, he went to the CWS to watch in 7th grade.

"I said, hey, I want to be out there. It's a dream come true. I took a knee on the field. I can't wait to be out with the team playing our first game Monday."

Practicing at Ameritrade Park for the first time, the team soaked it in; they'll be participating in the World Series.

"It's unbelievable. I was one of these little kids asking for baseballs every five seconds. To be out here on the field now is crazy," said Bryant Burleson.

The 7th-seeded Red Raiders play 2nd-seeded TCU 2 p.m. Sunday in their first-ever World Series game.
