Possible. As big as our guys in the trenches are, there was no reason for them to get bull rushed so much.
Also possible that Kaz got an offer elsewhere.
But I’d like to think Sonny got the message and is cleaning house. Or even better, decided on his own.
Tapefingers being old to look elsewhere was not a shock. And Sonny had made statements after a couple of the losses about certain plays that should not have been called.
He may be the type who doesn’t show it and brings the axe down at the end.

He’s been pretty adamant about wanting to run the ball more. Pretty vocal about it. The new OC fits the bill and this seems to be more of wanting to own the trenches.

I thought this as well. He clearly worked some wonders or had pretty good success at Baylor and SMU. I expected the same here but for whatever the reasons, it just didn’t seem to happen or I didn’t see any grand improvement to my naked eye at least.

Dykes not afraid to do what GP wouldn't -- make changes in staff, systems. He did it with his first DC and it is paying off. Now he has gone way outside the box with his OC. A change in strength and conditioning coach. Addressing areas that need improvement.
Give Dykes props. Whether it works we will see but he wasn't hesitant to pull the cord.
