KAUZ: Foster reflects on TCU commitment

WICHITA FALLS, TX (KAUZ) - Hirschi star running back Daimarqua Foster's recruitment took a while to really pick up in earnest, but when it did it moved quickly. On Friday, he visited the TCU football camp in Fort Worth, and by the end of the night he was a Horned Frog commit.
"It happened pretty fast," Foster said. "They offered me and then I was just like, 'I want to commit right now.'"
Daimarqua held offers from about a half-dozen other FBS schools, but TCU held a special place in his heart because of his favorite running back.
"You know, to see him get to go to TCU, which was a place he really wanted to go, and just to see how happy he is about getting to go to where LaDainian Tomlinson went, we're really happy for him," said Hirschi head coach Danny Youngs.
