Johnny Touchdown Did a Lot For The History of the Cotton Bowl

[Scarface]

Give him a lot of credit. It's not his fault our guy prefered the party scene. The guy has an incredible OL and his coaches had a great year also. No way his receivers are as good as ours, TCU wasted a lot of good wide receiver talent this year.

Anyway, the Heisman Trophy winner and his performance really gave the Cotton Bowl something to brag about for a long time. The Cotton Bowl needed him after all of these years of taking a back seat to the Orange Bowl, Fiesta Bowl and even the Capital One Bowl.

I hadn't considered blaming Johnny for the whole Pachall fiasco. But I sure like that idea!

[NubomTurk]

But wait, I thought that all the BCS bowls were more prestigious and entertaining than lowly non-BCS bowls.

[Bonner4Prez]

Johnny partied too and also got arrested.

[HToady]

Johnny Touchdown?

[Deep Purple]

Who is Johnny Touchdown?

Johnny parties the same (if not more) than CP4. Dude has been arrested at least two times. Advantage he has is that he isn't going to be driving drunk with the DD program the aggies

I really hope Patterson has a new plan implemented for this off season in terms of staying on track.

No way his receivers are as good as ours

I guess I haven't paid enough attention lately, but who are these recievers?

I guess I haven't paid enough attention lately, but who are these recievers?

The same receivers Casey Pachall won twelve games in a row with before he was suspended.

[AEAfrog]

Who is Johnny Touchdown?

That is the name Manziel will assume when he leads A&M into the promised land of the Pac 12.

Yall would have been undefeated with TCUs receivers. Manziel would have won the Heisman unanimously, there would have only been one guy in New York for the ceremony.

This right here.

I would agree with this part

I was expecting a OU win, a Manziel letdown and Heisman-trashing.

Johnny lived up to the hype, and then some on a big stage.

I'll give him credit for that.

I makes me very, very sad that some football programs get highly rated because they totally turn their faces away from awful actions, where TCU gets torched in the press by trying to do things right and what is right for the kid.

Self-disclosure is a sure way to get big penalties, where lying again and again wins championships.
