Who remembers his dad? I will never forget him! Checking his recruiting it appears Texas will win. I don’t even see TCU as recruiting him. Is this true? How can they miss on a kid like this? I understand he is just like his dad, one of my favorites forever!
I recall his time with TCU. Did he pass away several years ago. My memory is foggy on it but it seems like I recall that he did. I hope my memory is incorrect.

I was on the field covering the game for The Skiff when he got struck on the head with a helmet when there was a post-game scuffle after a game vs. Memphis.

Was that the one where several fights broke out at midfield and a couple of them in the end zone? Every time we thought it was done, another fight would break out.

I played on a basketball team with John about 12 years ago at Hawes gym. John is a good guy with a great family. Couldn’t believe how much weight he lost from his playing days. Wish we could have got his son here.

John was a great basketball player at Everman too. He had hops too and dunk many times in a games. I used to work at Braum's and he would come many a time and get Banana Splits and putting on weight to play DT was work for him. GP saw him as DT because that is what he played in HS, but I think he would have a great rush end as well given the chance.

A young guy that worked with me played with John and a couple other kids at Everman. They pretty much carried us old guys. He said he had to eat like crazy to keep that weight on.
