It is a nice fit. Alamo can get a lot of fans in seats (UCLA won't fill the place) & it would an attractive matchup for TV. I really like it as a game as well.

It looks like Oregon State may be a lock now for the Holiday Bowl. So if we go there it will be a rematch of the 2010 opener. I'm not sure how our fans would respond to bowl game in a location we have a bunch against an opponent we played and beat recently.

Could make sense for the Alamo to take TCU. Would be the Frogs' first time in that bowl, and a new destination for Frog fans. Tech and Okla. State have been there in the last three games and there might not be much energy in either fan base as compared to TCU and its fans.

I would love this but I can't see it happening. I can't see us losing and getting invited to this, but if we beat OU, that knocks them out of BCS and likely into the cotton bowl, then OSU in Alamo.
