If his dislike for school is as great as some of you say, he may not qualify to transfer into another NCAA college. Maybe his only option at this time is overseas.

Oh...I think its a guarantee he plays in at least 7 third-world country basketball leagues before he is 30...

Had a child who considered going there. It's nearly as affordable as any state school--and hasn't raised tuition since 2009. Of course, the way they make that work is that adjuncts teach a very high proportion of classes.

They schedule campus-visit days around home basketball games and make hoops a central part of the prospective-student experience. Majerle has built a competitive program even while being ineligible for NCAA play until two seasons ago. They've pushed NMSU but haven't gotten over that hump. Probably a good fit for Fisher and not far from home.
