Agree with a lot of this just one point: not sure you want to be rushing to the hospital with a 94. My chart shows between 93 and 97 for years at annual physical but I’ve been a long time sufferer of obstructive sleep apnea. It is important to know your personal baseline and be aware that not all of these sensors on the market are similarly accurate. The guidance I’ve heard most often is below 90 you should get to the hospital and call your health care professional below 95 but I’d always recommend taking advice from medical professionals who know your history.

Around 90% is where the actual blood oxygen content falls off the cliff, as illustrated by the oxyhemoglobin dissociation curve.
