Well, we all really did. I cannot remember when he was happy that we performed well but a change is a coming per Startlegram:
"Patterson wasn’t pleased with how his tight ends and receivers blocked on perimeter plays."
“If you want to run the football, you have to block on the perimeter,” Patterson said. “If you’re not going to block, then you’re not going to catch. I’m going to be the guy who says who starts and who plays and how we do all this stuff.
We can read into this whatever we want but this early in the season with the HC getting involved with the offense and calling the shots, does not bode well for the offensive staff. Sonny, better get your act together, muy pronto.
