They say the Heisman isnt based off of popularity. Ha. Bull [Craig James].

Johnny Football was completely deserving, as a Freshman he led his Aggies to a National Championship, no wait, a BCS bowl, uh, no, that's not it, two losses and third place in their division; that's it! Whew, thank goodness there wasn't a dominate senior player from a storied program that has been faltering for years that lead his team to an undefeated season and a National Title birth or that could have been awkward.

The Alabama game won it for Johnny. The OU game won it for Griffin. They are both talented, but sometimes luck and being at the right place at the right time helps. LT, who was the best college player in 2000, didn't have that good fortune.

FWIW, Johnny "hate frime" Manziel probably didn't commit a hate crime, but he is an idiot for even exchangingt punches with the guy.

Popping a curb on freaking Cockrell st going 5mph bothers me a lot less than Manziel's violent tendencies. Eh not a lot less, but they aren't that far apart in my opinon.

Yeah, the guy from NOTRE DAME didn't win because it's a popularity contest

This is like when you hear UT fans saying that they never get any respect from the national media.

Fact is, Teo is a good LB on an undefeated team. He's very good, but by no means one of the best defensive players I've seen in a while. You plug in any other good LB on that team and they're likely still undefeated.

You plug in any other good QB on A&M and they're probably 7-5. Tyrann Matthieu was more deserving last year than Teo this year. The only reason Teo finished #2 is because he's on ND
