Rolled out of bed at 4:30 this morning not being able to sleep.... I thought I'd type up a little motivation and prediction for everyone to read this morning (if they even get a chance with the 11am kickoff!)
I've watched OU a lot lately, especially their wins at WVU and against OSU last week. We all saw the insane amount of yards racked up on their defense... and while our offense is not as prolific as those right now, if we can produce a little over half the output of those teams by grinding out a strong running game, intermediate passes and the occasional play action long ball, we win this game. Our D is playing lights out and will put a lot of pressure against OU's decimated line with 4-5 rushers... we all know the key to beating OU is to get in Landry Jones' face early and often... if we can do this, he WILL make mistakes.. we've seen it time and time again, and our secondary is becoming a ball hawking secondary playing with confidence and swagger
OU is tired, hurt (at least, that'll be their excuse if they lose).. their players all watched Kent State almost beat NIU last night while in the hotel, and since an NIU win puts them in the BCS potentially knocking OU out of an at large, OU just lost a little more motivation for this game... no doubt about it Stoops will have them ready to play, but I predict and hope their intensity for this early kickoff will be met and overcome with fierce, hungry, fighting frog team looking for their Marquee victory on the year...
Frogs Win, fighting off a late OU rally, 24-20
BE LOUD FROG FANS, and GO FROGS!!!
