On Friday, Dec. 7, Michigan State Football’s most valuable player became recognized for his outstanding achievements. Running back Le’veon Bell won the 2012 Elite Running Back Trophy for the tremendous strides he brought to the Spartan football program.
This season, Bell rushed a total of 1,648 yards, which became the second best single-season total in Michigan State history. Not only has he impressed the Spartan Nation, but he has even made his mark in the entire Big Ten Conference. Bell topped the B1G in rushing yards with an average of 137.3 yards per game and earned First Team All-Big Ten for this outstanding amount.
