Sat near the bench today. Saw players and CTJ actually speaking and the players were eating his dog food.... Never saw that with CJC. We'll be ok.

I was at the game and the team played hard but can't make a FT to save their life. Was proud of their effort and defense was solid. CTJ had the team playing hard but we never seem to execute when we need to.
They play hard, for the most part. The guys giving full effort are not very good. Garlon Green has so much talent but does not play defense worth a crap. Kyan seems to be developing a bad attitude. It wouldn't surprise me if he transferred at the end of the season. He is worse in every aspect every game out.

Coach can't shoot their fts for them. We just hit 60% of them and we are right in the game.
A couple of things:
I am really enjoying watching Charles Hill play. He really brings some nice energy to the lineup, moves well without the ball, and has a knack for being at the right place for loose balls.
I want to see us feed Abron in the post more, he can score if he gets a good feed
Remember earlier in the year when Kyan hit back to back 30+ point games? Granted it was against weaker competition, but 2 points from Anderson means he is not working to get open enough. I though it was a good move to put him on the bench in the second half and give Smith a chance. I didn't think Smith played too badly either.

GuardianFrog, you are right, Coach can't shoot them for the players. And if it were just this year we couldn't shoot free throws you might say we need more practice. But its been bad for several years now. We haven't been able to hit free throws in a long time. I just hope Coach Johnson doesn't decide to transfer after this year.

Where could he go? He already bombed out at LSU. I guess if he wanted to be an assistant coach at some top level program he could do it, but I don't think there are going to be a lot of head coaching jobs seaking him out. His former assistants that are now head coaches are not fairing well either. I think he will turn it around here, but I don't think we will get much better than a mid level Big 12 team (think Nebraska when they were in the Big 12).

Mid level in the Big 12 would be a huge improvement on what I have seen the past 10 years.

We were a mid level MWC team last year and they are a better conference than the Big 12 this year.

That was then, this is now, all the ladies in the house say owwww!
We had more scorers last year. Due to graduation and injuries, we can't score. Good news, there are others in the conference with the same problem.
