Incoming freshman Crespo wins 100-breast heat, does not qualify for semifinals

TCU incoming freshman Edgar Crespo topped five other swimmers turn in the top time of the second heat of the men's 100-breastroke (1:03.72), however his time did not qualify him to advance to the semifinals at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
