Nine bowl eligible teams is not a certainty. I am hoping it doesn't play out that way but it very well may be the case.

So I am lucky enough to spend Thanksgiving with Sooners, Raiders, and Horns.

The Sooners and Raiders were cheering for us, but as soon as the game ended they diminished our victory as UT playing poorly. My football ignorant, Tech alum BIL ( redundant I know) further diminished us by saying "first win against a bowl eligible team"

We will see how that changes today and tomorrow.

As far as the Raiders fan he needs to remember they pulled the game against TCU out in the last minute of the game plus didn't UT beat them 31-22 in Lubbock? :tongue: Fer the Okie fan let's see what happens on December 1! My mistake Tom Brown. I'm sure my BIL is probably reading this, LOL I have pretty well outed myself to him and he will know I am posting on here now. Oh well, at least I have scoreboard for the year.

There is really nothing at stake for Tech in today's WVU vs. ISU game, but I am definitely rooting for ISU. Sadly I will have no choice but to root for the Sooners if Tech can't come up with a win against Baylor. Nothing worse than having to pull for the Sooners to help our conference standing but I can only fault Tubbs and Neal Brown for putting us in that predicament if that's the way it plays out.
