Massive for Baseball, and you bet these coaches are going to be going above and beyond to make sure these guys get all the "need based/merit aid" possible, including from TCU... Lots of flexibility now.

So, so big for TCU.

Effectively, every top-level baseball player at TCU going forward, unless its completely unneeded, should have the ability to carry an aid package that lowers TCU's cost to ~$0. Choosing TCU for your baseball future will no longer include all three of Schloss's Ps:

Rice, Vandy, and Stanford offered merit based aid to baseball players because they offered it all students. This allows TCU and others to do so also.

Rice, Vandy, and Stanford offered merit based aid to baseball players because they offered it all students. This allows TCU and others to do so also.

Vandy being the absolute gold standard here. Almost their entire team is on a massive scholarship. Rice just started something a little bit similar. I'm not sure exactly what Stanford does.
