How would you rank the current job openings?

Honestly I would find Colorado intriguing. Granted they are TURRRRIBLE this year, but if I were a coach I would see it as an opportunity. There is some instate talent and recruiting the west coast isn't a stretch. The program has been down for a while so expectations would be low and if you start winning you could become the iconic coach that started a new era of Colorado football in its new conference...the Pac 12.
Cal is also a pretty good job that can probably be turned around quickly with the right coach who could recruit. The infrastructure is there.
I think Tennessee is a good job as well. Great atmosphere, but tough expectations. SEC East is a little easier to win in. The brand has definitely taken a hit lately, but the right coach could take Tenn to a new era of success. Playing Alabama every year though won't make it easy.
Auburn and Arkansas are both good programs in the grand scheme, but they are in the toughest division in conference football. Auburn has a better recruiting location and thus is slightly more appealing. Arkansas doesn't share any in-state competition though.
Purdue sucks. Boston College sucks. Kentucky and NCState aren't actually all that terrible, but they will always be basketball schools and thus will likely never get the full support they need from their athletic departments to seriously compete for national titles in football.

Tennessee doesn't have talent. They have to recruit in other states.

Tennessee has a rabid fan base, an outstanding stadium, good facilities, plenty of money, the SEC, the East Division---inherently more winnable than the West---, and a decent tradition. They're a state's flagship school and there no reason they can't be a contender for the SEC East, SEC, and national title.
Auburn suffers from being the "other" state school, an both Auburn and Arkansas will always have to get through LSU and Bama to get a division title---add Miss State and A&M as of late, and a surging Ole Miss coming up, too. I guess if the SEC adds two to the east and slides Mizzou over thatll give the West a "Kentucky" caliber win.
Boston College is a middle of the road ACC school. And the ACC's future is uncertain. Purdue is a Bleh Big Ten school that has earned little respect. Cal is a good gig, but not a marquee football program. That's a building job that could make someone's career. Colorado is just terrible. NC State would be very good IF added to the SEC East--otherwise the ACC's current instability will be a ball and chain in a coaching search. Kentucky, lastly, is Kentucky---a basketball school in a football conference.

I voted based on which has the most prestigious name value. The best job should theoretically depend on the coach looking. Some may want a job they enjoy the location or the people, others may want a pressure cooker that is the SEC: win 10 every year or get fired.

Not solid on the stats with this, but I believe Tennessee has the third biggest stadium in college football, right behind Michigan and Penn State. Despite their lack of success in recent history, I think that is a pretty big seller to be the Vols' HC. Sad to say, since I like Dooley, but the W-L is all that matters.

Tennessee, no brainer imo. Said it before but spend any time out East and you know that is a serious brand. The real UT for the East.

went to the colorado game with my cousin on Friday after thanksgiving when they lost to Utah... CU is probably my second favorite team
pretty crazy to see the drop off there and disheartened fans, but it was still a good time and a real back and forth game..
got him to snag a pic with a couple of the buff dancers...

Fortunately for them those states are Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. After 'Bama, Tennessee is the great historic powerhouse of the SEC. Florida is a johnny-come-lately by comparison. A good coach can win there, and soon. The good news for us is that said good coach will not be GP.
