How KillerFrogs Power Rankings Work​

KillerFrogs Power Rankings are designed to answer one simple question:

How does TCU look right now?

These rankings are a weekly snapshot of current form, not a prediction of final standings, postseason results, or long-term outlook.


What Goes Into the Rankings
Each week’s Power Rankings combine:

• Fan sentiment from official KillerFrogs forum polls
• Editorial context from the KillerFrogs | TCU On SI staff
• Recent results and trends (games, series, injuries, availability)

No single voice controls the rankings. They are intentionally community-informed and editor-reviewed.

What Power Rankings Are Not​

To keep expectations clear:

• Not preseason rankings
• Not predictions
• Not tournament projections
• Not final standings

They reflect only current performance and trajectory.

When you see a thread tagged:

KillerFrogs Big 12 [Men's Basketball] Power Rankings - Week of [Date]

You’re encouraged to:

1. Vote first
   • Rank teams 1-16 if you can. If you are unsure beyond the top or bottom, vote confidently where you feel strongest.
2. Comment thoughtfully, considering:
   • Recent results
   • Strength of competition
   • Injuries or lineup changes
   • Overall momentum

Strong, measured comments may be featured in published TCU On SI articles.
