How bad is women's basketball going to get beat tonight?

I am going, but I am worried that its going to be over by the first media timeout. I went to our women's game vs. Georgia, and while they have a bunch of young promising players, they are not there yet when it comes to meshing together and playing well as a team. One player who stood out to me though was #33 Breaux, who hustled on every possession, was a solid 3 point shooter and also has a great last name.

I looked up a couple of halftime scores from Baylor's earlier games. Against now No. 6 Kentucky, they led 46-19. Against now No. 12/13 Tennessee, they led 41-16. They've dished out a few hardwood hiney whippings prior to this one.

The pool of elite talent in women's hoops is so limited that after the top 10 programs gobble up their players in the recruitment process the drop off in player ability is huge. Unfortunately, one of those programs is 90 miles south of us.

I still think Zahna Medley and Kamy Cole have potential to be good though.

They absolutely do, but against an elite team like Baylor they were lucky to get shots up most possessions. Their defense and rebounding is just on a whole different level than we are capabe of right now. I hope that we can close the gap, and certainly Griner leaving will help.

Do you think the jack up 3s approach tonight was the best approach to take? I think it was because each time we tried to go inside it was a disaster, resulting in either a block or a turnover. The shots just didn't fall.

If they were driving and dishing to open three point shooters that would be one thing, but we were just puttering around the three point arc and throwing up wild shots when the shot clock was running down. You have to at least make the defense think that you might drive on them otherwise it is too easy to guard you on the perimeter.
