Big changes are coming to one of Texas Christian University's oldest buildings on campus. Next week, according to public filings, crews are expected to begin construction on a multi-million-dollar renovation for Ed Landreth Hall and Auditorium.
The project for the College of Fine Arts space, originally built in 1948, has been more than a year in the making. The TCU Board of Trustees approved the revitalization in April 2025. The board expects renovations to be completed in time for the 2028-2029 academic year.
"We're not just restoring a historic space—we're creating a more effective and inviting home for the arts," said Bill Nunez, vice chancellor for finance and administration. "The renovation will strengthen the student and audience experience while preserving the legacy of one of TCU's most iconic academic facilities."
