they really have jacked that place up. Had thought about a trip up there a few years ago but it just got crazy busy up there.

Guess I'll look at Wyoming (I have ranchers in my family, don't judge) or South Dakota for a get away.
My uncle/aunt have property in Bozeman and Missoula. They've told me the Californicators have come in and really jacked-gummed-tarred things up. The Mountains states should be barred from communists entering plain and simple.

25 years ago I was in Missoula for a law school competition. Immediately fell in love Went to a ski shop to rent som skis for a couple days, and decided to mess with the guy at checkout. Told him I was impressed with the town and thinking of moving there with 100k of my best friends. He said, OK, as long as they’re not from California.

Bozeman is just like Jackson Hole now. Wonderful place to live but very tough to find housing. Beautiful area though.

Went up to Bozeman & then Missoula last fall. Amazing country.

To me, the area Bozeman is in is pretty blah. Really have to go 20 miles or more out from Bozeman to get into God's country imo.

Is that property line pretty well established? Does He pay taxes on all of it? Have Californians acquired any of His country or do they only buy from the locals?

Wyoming is great. Black Hills are crazy busy. Having lived in Cody for several years, I'm partial to Wyoming. Big Horn Mountains are a still relatively undiscovered gem. But stick to the northern part between Sheridan and Lovell on 14A.
Thanks. Ever been to Telluride in the warmer months? Some folks said check it out. I've been in that part of Wyoming. And if I don't do some advance thinking for a small vacation this year, I may end up back there visiting friends.

Never spent a lot of time in CO except to drive/ride through to WY/MT. Just never the same vibe for me. I have TX friends that ride motorcycles there a lot because it's fairly easy to get to. We did spend some time riding around Gunnison a couple of years ago. You can certainly never beat Yellowstone, but it's gotten so crowded. Go before Memorial Day or after Labor Day.
