Indiana will honor their agreement
Wait until other players and agents see how
tc u handles their commitments
3-9

LOL

If this thought is coming from the Hoover camp, than this is why he is the same QB he was as a freshman chunking straight into double coverage for a pick six against OU.

Man, idk why all the hate for the kid. . . I wish he’d been “loyal,” to TCU(whatever that means), but if he goes to IU and has a stellar season, how is that anything but good for the good guys?

Really looking forward to when you drop off this board to go follow your boy to Indiana. No frog fan is making up unsubstantiated allegations when we’re close to signing a new QB in defense of the one who left.

Also, I really love that story about how the Hoosiers won the national championship by poaching players from other teams by paying them more. It really warms the heart…

We're the good guys. Not IU. We're the ones who developed Hoover. Then he treats us like we're damn North Texas. He could've made plenty of money and had a nice senior year at TCU. So to hell with him now.

Hey little buddy , I think you should probably go to the Indiana fan board now. That’s a great idea, just leave here forever and don’t ever feel the need to check in with us. We’ve got all the Josh Hoover stuff covered here now.
And tell him thank you for not playing in the Alamo Bowl, that actually helped TCU.

Maybe the deal was setup like you’re supposed to do with building contractors. A portion of the money upfront and the rest when the job is completed. That would seem a smart way to do it. If he was promised a certain amount, I think everyone can agree that the job was not completed, so the agreed upon amount should not be paid in full. It so happens that the portion not completed was probably the most important part of the entire agreed upon work. Thankfully, Ken Seals provided some last minute upgraded work to cover for his unfinished job.

If there is an unpaid portion, perhaps it should be paid to Seals. I think that is how it would work in the real world.

Having made the mistake of paying the full amount up front before, I can tell you that the contractor’s motivation to complete the work vanishes.

Just my opinion.

That is not how it works. Though perhaps it should. We need employee/player contracts, performance/bonus clauses, compensation when a player leaves and a rule restricting transfers. Then we can have collective bargaining and "college" players can go on strike and kill an entire season.

Promised lot’s of money not made
There’s a difference

How come Hoover hasn't said as much? Seems to me he'd be the one defending himself and saying, "yeah, unfortunately I feel I have to leave TCU because they promised me XXXX amount of dollars and then didn't deliver. So I feel the need to move elsewhere."

Instead we get a grammatically challenged mystery person appear and say, "TCU didn't live up to their promises. Ask around." Linebacker39 is this you?
