Look, I liked Hoover. Good kid, smart, and a very gifted thrower. But…he just didn’t have the “it” factor. Mistake prone, got overwhelmed under pressure (which, to be fair, he was A LOT), and most importantly, he just never willed the team to a win in tough moments.

Until the system gets fixed, we really can’t be too mad. Someone wants to pay him more than we’re willing to. If someone wants him for $5M, good for him.

How many QBs have your "it" factor? If you look at our recruiting, we have struggled at that position. Hoe many QBs have failed? A ton. What has been our record with first year QBs? Horrible.
