Hirbstreit just about lost it talking about NIU getting an Orange bid. Not happy.

Don't disagree, just funny to see that boil over on air.

Their saving grace is they get to play some crap team in the Orange Bowl, so they have a chance.

Put them up against Florida or Stanford and it would be a beat down of great proportions.

I'll never be a fan of the cartel and will probably always get a kick when a have not get a shot in a BCS game. That being said, I think either of our two BCS worthy teams would probably roll the Huskies (as would Utah 09 or Boise) but that was then and this is now.

They do have a heck of a QB leading them that's a lot of fun to watch. I hope they acquit themselves well. I'll be pulling for them.

Sucks for NIU that Dave Doeren is already gone. FSU's speed will probably be too much for them. But the Noles are very poorly coached and have played several games with the attitude that they had won when they walked into the stadium. Ended up biting them in the [Craig James] against NC State.
