Have we put in a request for temporary AC at Purdue?

After Michigan's Week 4 trip to Purdue, coach Jim Harbaugh made headlines when he complained that the Ross-Ade Stadium accommodations were not so accommodating, from a medical table "out of the 1920s" to a missing X-ray machine to a lack of air conditioning that sent some players to the team bus to cool off. He called for his fellow Big Ten coaches to join him in asking for improvements. Purdue quickly responded via a statement that it would never put player safety in jeopardy for the sake of gamesmanship. It pointed out that a Michigan staffer had done a walk-through of Ross-Ade in July and that its visiting team manual reads, in bold type "there is no air conditioning in the locker room." A request can be made for temporary AC, but according to Purdue, Michigan filed no such request.

I was on Purdue campus summer of 1998 when there was a "heat wave" and the daily temperatures were around 88-90...they don't think it gets hot enough to justify the expense in student housing....Only dorms with A/C were for graduate students...classrooms did have A/C, however....Humidity is a perpetual problem there...close enough to the Great Lakes...all buildings linked with underground pedestrian and service tunnels for the winter....

And yet, as posted earlier, they can use a cannon to blow a hole through the chest of Burrow's jersey number. Poor baby horns.
Yeah, that was pretty jacked up. With all the young folks being such pansies ... er ... uh ... being so triggered these days, I'm shocked they all didn't go run for safe spaces.

GP quoted as saying we never had any a/c issues at UT.
GP does not coach the last two teams that were there.
Keep in mind, Coach O tried to play this topic off. Reporters asked about it because there were people other than the team, including media types, who started chirping about it before the game was even over.
LSU would not have brought in fans ...
