Eagles Called Out for ‘Worst Draft Pick of the Century’​

Maybe it’s better things turned out this way. Maybe it’s better the Philadelphia Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman made the decision they did in the 2020 NFL draft.

Otherwise, things may not have been fair for the rest of the NFL.

Bleacher Report’s Kristopher Knox called the Eagles selecting TCU wide receiver Jalen Reagor over NFL All-Pro Justin Jefferson the “Worst Draft Pick of the Century” and it should make fellow NFC teams shudder to think of what would have happened if the Eagles had taken Jefferson.

OK I clicked on the link and the byline is completely misleading. The article describes "each team's worst draft pick of this century". The Eagles weren't "called out"; each team had a listed worst pick.

You'd think that a writer could at least take five minutes to read what he's going to write about.

He had a chance at redemption with the Pats until he made that Bugatti at the trailer park post. NE cut him about an hour later.

Bust for sure, but also picked 21st overall, so not a ton of draft capital in the big picture compared to early first round picks. And a third to half of first round picks are busts. If Reagor is the worst pick of the century, the Eagles are having some pretty good draft luck.
