Has TCU won a Big 12 home game?

Unless I missed something, the only TCU team to beat a Big 12 team at Fort Worth since we joined the Big 12 was a Women's Soccer win over Texas on October 21st. Hard to generate fan excitement when you don't beat your conference opponents at home.

We are in that rough phase of the year, similar to Northern Europe, where the sun doesn't come out for more than 30 minutes per day. This thread is the online equivalent.

Why would I get banned for pointing out that we are not winning our conference games at home? I assume things will get much better during baseball saeson, but its a little hard to get people excited when you don't win your conference games at home. That assertion doesn't seem wrong, or overly provocative unless we've developed a really thin skin around here.

Is our attendance down at all the home events? or am I missing something?

Unfortunately, over the last few years, it seems like attendance has not been up at the basketball games. At the games I've been to, I could have had a whole row to myself and maybe even a whole section. Whether it is technically up or down, there are a lot of empty seats in a pretty small arena. That's a shame because the teams play hard, and you feel like they are close except for a few minutes when nothing seems to go right.

Yes, the glass is half empty and the sky is falling.

TCU did go 7-5 during the season make a bowl despite all the attrition.

I don't think people are thinned skin, just wondering where you are going with this?Is this more of an issue for you than the rest of us?

Most people agreed considering the circumstances of personnel losses that a bowl game and a 7-5 season was very good. It was quirky tha all conference games were won the road in FB. Mens baske ball was going to be a struggle this season then starting losing players like the FB team. The women won home contests in soccer and volleyball and the women's bb team will win some games. Baseball will win some home games too.

Agree with you on this, but for the Men, attendence for basketball is going to happen until they show they can win. That is not going to happen this season. I agree, people should support them anyway.
