The officiant proudly announced “Mr. and Mrs. ‘groom’s name’.” The bride spun around angrily and said something to the officiant, who took a huge breath, major eye roll. He then defeatedly announced “Mr. ‘groom’s name’ and Mrs. ‘bride’s maiden name’. She looked so smug and satisfied at the announcement of her name instead of having to take her evil husband’s last name.
