That is one of my top 10 all time favorite SNL bits. Lots of nostalgia for me because of when it came out. That one year when Martin Short and Billy Crystal were the show's headliners was a highlight for me. It has been largely ignored in their history because it was part of the brief period where Lorne Micheals was not a part of the show, so he does not acknowledge that year in the show's history. It is as if it never existed, but we all know that it did and it was glorious. The cast was amazing that year.

Anybody played Canyon West lately? Just saw the “award winning” course is getting donated to Weatherford College. I haven’t played it in probably 20-25 years, but always had the impression it wasn’t much different than some others out that way…Sugartree and Lost Creek (before it went downhill). Little more open, maybe. Did they put a lot of money into it at some point?

Today we made the tough decision to put our Dog, Tank, down. He was born during the Rose Bowl, so we figured Tank was as fitting of a name as we could pick. A little sliver of that Rose Bowl magic will leave our house tonight.

We've lost three "best friends" over the years...It's always painful but the sweet memories and funny-to-no-one-else stories will get you by.
And if anyone says "Oh, it's only a dog" just kick them really hard in the gonads.
