A buddy had the facebook live for Charlie Daniels memorial shared on facebook, so I watched from the office.
Wow, amazing the impact that man had on a lot of people, charities and careers. Already knew about the obvious, music and military support. Start of the week was kinda bummed. A. being a fan of his. B. thinking it sucked that he did not have the shows he was scheduled for in the Spring, didn't have one more show at the Opry, etc. Then after seeing what people like Vince Gill and others had to say today, obvious that the long haired country boy lived the fullest of lives making sure he didn't miss out. Looks like 5th Group were the honorary pallbearers. His black fiddle and that sunburst Les Paul were next to the casket.
Daniels was scheduled for a 100 shows this year.
Consider this redneck inspired.
