Crime in Sports
Small Town Murder

Two "true crime" podcasts done by the same two comedians. They are the perfect mix of true crime and comedy.
Started listening to the true crime ones the other day. Those two are pretty solid

I found those two you mentioned. The ones a coworker told me about is True Crime All the Time which is also pretty good.

What are some good podcast that y’all listen too? Figured this was the perfect place to get feedback.
Does not help with an actual answer, I know, but I am checking different ones out. I'll let you know. I catch many that are for different team. Example: Used to catch the Hotty Toddy Hotline for Ole Miss. Just cause the hosts have been pretty solid and they covered a good amount of football. Some others around the South.

One that the wife and I have enjoyed is the Coach's Wife Life podcast. Hosted by the wife of a Kansas assistant. She has even had Coach P's wife on there. Very good view of what their real life/world is like off the field. I've always felt if you are going to be a fan, be an all in fan. I'm not saying be like people in Alabama that know Saban's kids' birthdays, but aint bad to know Coach P's rule that you can't have more dogs than you have hands to pet them.

Another that I like is the Sports Spectrum podcast.

Those are a couple. Again, more of behind the scenes stuff. There are good ones that cover college football that I am checking out. I'll try to remember to report on them.

I realize I am one of the few that follows the SEC/Southern ACC schools to the depth I do. Obviously, have grown through the South has a lot to do with it. But I watched the 8 episodes ( I think there are only 8) of Saturdays Down South on SEC Network (I think they have them on ESPN as well).
Man, lots of memories. A fellow Frog who had the similar up bringing warned me about the episode with John Ed Bradley (great writer who played at LSU). Bradley's emotion for the game and his team will tug at the heart strings.

Overall, really great history of college football in the South. The remembering of some of the teams that were originally in the SEC is interesting. And how much of the passion really deepened as the South renewed was well thought out.

Here's the info on the documentary if you have not seen it. I wish they would do something like this for the Big 12. With the SWC and Big 8, some pretty good history there.

There was a lot of talk about Tecova Boots on here recently. Looks like they’ve finally entered into the square toe market.
So I looked at those, but the only thing is they don't seem to come in widths. I have some Anderson Beans and Rios Mercedes and they are great boots. And they go down to an A width in some styles. I wear them to work and they hold up well in the stirrup as well. As comfortable as my Luccheses

worst late night snack in the kitchen:

I’m rolling with trisquits. These jawns taste like Yugioh cards. I’ve never had a trading card for a meal, but I’m convinced trisquits taste as shippy as a cardboard trading card.
Went through a box of those Sat night.

Related: Sandy Duncan was a fair babe.

Comedy, true crime, and sports I guess. Really anything if it’s well done and interesting. Already have True Crime All The Time and the Texas history one that was mentioned here a long time ago.

My Brother produces a true crime podcast called Hell and Gone. I haven’t listened to the second season yet, but the first was really good.

Best college football pods are the Solid Verbal, The Audible, Podcast ain’t Played Nobody, and Andy Staples pod.

Bill Simmons and Pods from the Ringer are best NBA coverage. They also have good movie and pop culture pods.

Labeling Rogan’s podcast as “Comedy” is kind of misleading. He has some incredible non-comedians on his show, and those are usually my favorite episodes. I’m late to the whole Rogan podcast deal, but am really enjoying catching up.

Some of my favorites are the scientist/philosopher types. Some ship that really makes you think.

I just saw an ad for them so I didn’t see sizing, but thats good to know. I personally like how Beans, Black Jacks, and Lucchese boots fit my feet. Never tried the Rios Mercedes.

My wife brought something home called Cookie Butter. Holy ship. It’s equally as crackish as Nutella was when I first tried it.

Cookie Butter looks exactly like peanut butter, which it basically is, but also has some other flavorful goodness in it that should be darning illegal.

Told my wife to never bring that home again.
