Was I supposed to type something here?
everytime folks talk about the realighment stuff, they forget that TCU owns oil rights, thanks to two big historic ranches. So the estimate an amount far less.

When it happens, if it happens .. in the next carnival of shift, TCU will land in the Big 10.

An invasion for tv and recruiting.

Fall golf in Michigan is pretty cool. Pub crawls in Ohio are a blast. Great cookout. And scheiss the heat.
It is my understanding that there are lots of unofficial lines of communication working towards that end, and that the B1G is interested.

When a Conference like the B1G is poaching Cali-based programs, the old maps and familiar nearby rivalries are out the window. Money rules things, and their Network benefactors want the Big Names. Secondary considerations are regional ratings potential, ease of travel, and fanbase willingness to shell out endless money for distant road games/Bowls.

Baylor
Houston
TCU
Texas Tech
SMU
Memphis

One of these things is not like the other...
If Baylor gets DJ Lagway in line and Hosea Wheeler DT arrives, they are the real deal. If Houston assembles a DL they will be frontrunners with the best coach in the B12. Houston arguably has the best QB & RB in the B12.

I was implying that Memphis looked weird in this division

OK I lost it in translation. My bad. Memphis was rejected by the B12 and had 2 more OL picked in last weeks NFL draft than TCU.
What does that prove? We didn't have a senior-heavy OL? How many linemen has TCU put in the NFL over the last 25 years compared to Memphis and many other teams?

If we were fortunate enough to get an invite to the SEC or the Big and do not take it, everyone involved in that decision should be fired and then tarred and feathered.

It (Memphis OL draft picks this yr) does not prove anything. I was simply pointing out that it is probably an anomaly when Memphis has Olineman taken in the draft & TCU does not. Hopefully just a hiccup with TCU not having any OL picked last weekend.

I mean even Campbell finally left Iowa St because he saw the writing on the wall about the conference
Yeah Penn State is way less money and much less prestige than Iowa State but he saw the writing on the wall and took the job anyway.

You realize he turned down about 30 job offers in the last 10 years - all of which where better org programs than Iowa St and many were better programs than Penn St and as much if not more money than he got

And he even said in one of his press conferences he sees a clear future for college football with 2 major conferences at the top level

Are you really that dense to think he has never had a better offer before than a Penn St program struggling to regain relevance in the B10 given the top tier SEC, B1G and even former PAC school jobs that have been available in the last 5 years alone?

What’s Penn St now in the B1G - the 5th or 6th most relevant program ? So basically the TCU or Auburn of B1G?

What do you think made him finally leave after 10 years of saying he was not…
