You just aren't appropriately acknowledging the dominance that was A&M's sparkling 6-2 record that year, placing the Aggies in a three-way tie for the division title with OU and OSU. After the predictable shaming that followed, the sign was further amended with a tiny "South Division" under the '97 and '10.
