Hiring Gary Patterson is the greatest moment.

Drake Toll talking Gary Patterson after he was hired at USC. Toll spent a lot of time with Patterson working together on Locked On Big 12. He discusses Patterson‘s passion, self-confidence, 4-2-5, beating Mike Leach and his study at home watching film in the years since he left TCU. Patterson loves coaching. Toll also alludes to Patterson maybe wanting 200 wins. Now he rides with Riley and if they fail and Riley is fired, it may be Patterson’s last ride. Patterson was talking with USC for three weeks before taking the job.

A. Drake is gonna benefit from working with Gary on that show. That expansion of knowledge. Drake's already got great on camera presence.
B. It's what many pointed out before, Gary was missing our on some S&C stuff.
C. This is why many feel he won't have a problem in NIL as a DC. He can coach 2 and 3 stars up. He can coach up whoever is there. If they can't hang, they were not gonna be that level player anyway.

I think back to when Mickey Andrews was coaching those greats at FSU.

The overlooked MVPs of that game were the showgirls. Standing out there in the freezing cold rain for that entire game in their lil shorts. It was so miserable for the fans, just imagine how miserable it was for them.

Pretty sure I've never heard the Estridge call on that. It was well done but the Fox broadcast call is iconic.
