Great job OL

Yeah Texas run D not good but the line did a great job first three quarters and we ran it down their throats!!!

Texas stacked in knowing we would run in the fourth to try to shorten game and we went conservative a little early but GP wanted to let the def win it and they did.

Yep.. Switching Collins and Tayo was genius... OLine played great. We ran the same play 90% of the plays and they blocked well. Thanks OLine

Let's stop ragging on them and the OCs. We did the exact same thing as we did against KSU, but when the line stepped up, they did in a big way. Collins had a couple of PFs, but I'm strangely OK with that. It means he's blocking hard.

Amazing how a change in strategy can make the same group of guys look totally different huh?!?!? Here's to a week of killer practices and then...Bring on the Sooners!

The OL deserves some credit. They have not been stellar but not nearly as bad as some on here have suggested. When the OC's were being aggressive and putting the team in a better posture to have success, they had some. When they stopped doing that, it was back to the same. I trust GP to decide if the reason they have put us in bad situations so often is because they don't know what they are doing or just because we are so limited right now by QB play.

Ok, and you're vote would be?

That the coaches fully understand the strengths and weaknesses week in and week out and are trying to maximize the outcome of this team however they can. ex tech .wva kstate and now ut. 4 close games that could ve gone either way. imo they've maximized positive aspects and minimized the negative.

I know that's what they want to do. I'm going to have to disagree that they've done that and have instead often emphasized some of our weaknesses thereby putting the game in the hands of overcoming those weaknesses. We saw tonight, for example, that the O-line which has been so severely criticized can actually have some success when put into a position that forces the other team to have some uncertainty as to what we are going to do.

But, my opinion on that is no more informed than yours and maybe less. I'm just glad we won tonight.

The OL and run game created that. When you can run the ball it opens up other things.

Credit to Boykin too.

Fundamentals looked improved and the OL seemed to be blocking as a team. Proud of you guys, OL isn't an easy position and they have gotten a lot of criticism. Way to step up! Props! Proud of you guys!
