Report: NCAA set to notify Kansas of violations
4:32 PM CT

Kansas is expected to receive a notice of allegations from the NCAA regarding alleged recruiting violations that surfaced during a federal criminal trial last year, according to the Kansas City Star.

The latest development was expected after NCAA executive vice president Stan Wilcox said earlier this summer that at least six schools would receive notices of allegations, which are expected to include Level I allegations -- the most serious under NCAA rules.

It is unclear whether Jayhawks coach Bill Self will be charged with a coach control violation, which could result in his suspension for as long as one season.

Kansas? Basketball?

They'll receive 1 extra scholarship above the NCAA limit. They'll get 2 years of Tournament Inclusion, meaning they will be allowed into the ncaa tournament no matter their record. They also attain Academic Immunity, meaning their basketball players will also receive all A's no matter their attendance in class.

Yah NCAA isn’t going to pull the rug out from under itself.

Make the story public, let social media hammer them until they’re tired of the story, and everyone moves on. Business as usual.

Only way they get in meaningful trouble is if Self expresses doubt in manmade climate change, one of their players addresses a transgender trainer by a non-preferred pronoun, the postgame snack includes nuggets from Chik-fil-A and a Betsy Ross flag is spotted within 1000 feet of Allen Fieldhouse. That would shut the program down indefinitely
