I dont really follow college sports anymore and even forgot we had a game today but looked at the score and couldn't help but smile

Selling a home game to Ireland and hyping up on social media for the last year about playing a game in Ireland only to lose. Each time the TCU football Instagram account made an Ireland post I wanted to puke

There is nothing college about college football in 2026. Its all money grabs. If I want to watch pro football ill just watch the NFL.

I don't think the administration is at fault for the state of college football right now so your post seems a bit misguided.

I don't like that we did this Ireland game either. The loser of this game the past two years has gone on to have an uncharacteristically terrible year, and whatever extra exposure we might have gotten isn't worth losing a home game over. When a college game is played overseas neither team is going to be their best, and overall it helps the lesser team. No way we drop this game at home, but overseas everyone is out of sorts and it doesn't put our players in the best position to win.

I hope we never do another one of these dumb overseas games. Europe is never going to become huge American college football fans so I don't understand the logic of having any games over there.

Id say its more of a microcosm of what I hate about modern college sports. Everything has to be about money

In the last 13 years we have sold home games against LSU, Ohio State and UNC. For what? So the administration and athletic department can rake in the cash.

Everything revolves around greed.

This administration and AD have basically done to TCU Football what Tony Soprano did to Davey Scatino's sporting goods store

I don't disagree with you on that. Greed has always been a problem in college football, and once NIL came into play it just completely started running amok.

Before NIL we were having a facilities arms race across college football, but now facilities upgrades that weren't already funded probably will fall to the lowest priority everywhere except in the B1G and SEC. Assuming the conferences stay like they are, in 20 years the only places that will have state of the art facilities will be in the SEC and B1G because they're the only ones who will be able to afford them.

Yep. Said this from the very beginning. You had the A.D. of Boise State, who was the associate A.D. under our former A.D. (CDC) literally sitting there, begging for the job, and stifled him for someone who has no idea what the hell he’s doing. Our administration and BoD needs a top to bottom cleansing.

This has nothing to do with playing in Dublin ..from all in indications it was a great trip for the fans and gave us much needed national exposure. Would you have rather played this game in 100 degree weather and an east side empty ACS?!?

I have to question our administration when they extend Sonny and then allow him to do the banning shenanigans with the ST.

I now have zero faith in Budde and Pullin going forward!
