It was in Dallas the last two years, so not sure that's such a huge gaffe. Probably just forgot to update a template of some kind.

I've know several Chronicle writers over the years, and they are required to do so much multi-tasking now there's little or no time left for fact-checking or proofreading, anymore.

That's not an excuse, just an explanation.

I don't doubt it. They have lost many writers and the whole thing has basically become a total aggy rag.
