FORT WORTH, Texas - Travis Woolf and Johan de Beer were both honored with PING All-South Region accolades, which were announced on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier this season, Woolf garnered All-Mountain West Conference laurels for the first time in his career as the TCU senior ranked first on the team with a 73.25 strokes average. In addition, the Fort Worth standout recorded seven top-25 finishes, including two top-10 showings during the 2009-10 campaign.

Woolf recently tied a season-best with a seventh-place showing at the Mountain West Conference Championships where he posted an even-par score of 213 (71-72-70). The TCU senior also recorded a seventh-place finish at The Prestige at PGA WEST as well as a 12th-place showing at the National Invitational Tournament. Currently, Woolf is ranked 61st in the country in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin Rankings.

De Beer was also honored with All-Mountain West Conference accolades last month as the TCU sophomore finished second on the squad with a 73.44 strokes average. In his second season with the Frogs, de Beer recorded seven top-25 showings, including four finishes in the top-five.

The Pretoria, South Africa, native recorded a season-best showing of third overall at The Prestige at PGA WEST to go along with a fourth-place showing at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships, In addition, de Beer posted a pair of fifth-place showings at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters and Morris Williams Intercollegiate.
